For the past two years or so, I have been really into cinematic stills. My brother really opened up new doors for me by sharing his passion for film. I’ve been thinking a lot about what photographs are important to me and what photographs I can make that I will actually care about.

I photographed my brother and his girlfriend Yumi about a year ago and I haven’t had much interest in sharing them with anybody. However, I find myself looking at them several times a week. I know what they mean to me, and I hope someday I will be comfortable enough to share with you why they are important.
