Seriously, the mullet is ingenius design. Hicks had a problem: working manual labor outside all the time the backs of their necks were getting burnt, hence the term redneck. Then they adapted their haircuts to solve this problem letting the back grow without having hair in the face. Simple, practical and good-looking. But now if you have a mullet you're still a redneck regardless of the color of your neck. So counterintuitive. Kudos on the cut. I think it's a wonderful homage to human design.
