I like the sun, but don’t care for the hot weather.  Its quite a bit cooler up in the mountains of NC….even in the middle of summer.

Camping and swimming in the mountains will always be an adventure.  Sometimes its just better to stay outside all night.

This was the perfect swim spot for a summer day after a night of camping.

The day was going so well until we were about to leave.  A local sheriff showed up and wanted to issue everyone a ticket for trespassing.  After an hour of telling him how he as ruining our day, the sheriff decided to make a deal with us…..he would let everyone leave if all the trash was picked up around the area.  Needless to say, we made this happen.
