After a long day in the mountains, nothing beats a good fireworks show from a rooftop. Â July 4th, 2009 ; poppin’ off. Â Nothing else needs to be said.

On May 15th, 2009, a few friends and I headed toward the coast for a little skateboard journey. Â Needless to say, a lot of fun times happened. Â The weather could have been a bit nicer, however, we did what we could to enjoy every bit of the trip. Â Thanks to everyone along the way that provided a floor to sleep on, food to eat, beer to drink, etc…
Unfortunately, quite a few hours were spent in the car. Â Ramon was glad to ride the coast and film the skating…
The pilot himself, Robert.
Kevin, aka, Stephen slept most of the ride.
We stopped in a few random ass towns along the way. Â I walked in a thrift store to find this awesome cash register. Â
Too bad you don’t see these much anymore.
Our pride and joy.?
Â
Rory and Jacob get locked out of their car. Â A nice local fela helped them by supplying a coat hanger.
Navigator.
Everyone slept along the way at some point.
First in Flight.
Dunes.
Â
Hey, let me in the car fool.
Brunt, ready for the next skate session.
Rory dominated the Currituck skatepark. Â These walls are no joke. Â Frontside ollie over the hip. Â
Frontside ollie over the doorway. Â He had to work his way up to this one….
Ramon with the polaroid action…
The krew….and troll face.
Jacob and Brunt watch as the shredding goes down.
Everyday hustlin’
Rob with a frontside rock back into the 10 ft. bowl behind him.Â
Drop in, maybe?
Â
We definitely hit up Jockey’s Ridge State Park along the way. Â
Â
Making our way to the top for some sand sliding. Â
Â
Â
Justin taking one for the crew. Â

Â
Sun goes down for the night.

Â
The ferry ride to Ocracoke Island was epic.
“On A Boat” was the theme song of course.Â
Rub it in good, Rory. Â
Rob took everyone to this gap in Ocracoke. Â Justin broke his board, while Rory threw down this nollie backside 180. Â
Jacob in the wilderness.
Â
The Ocracoke lighthouse. Â Yes, we did our sightseeing. Â
Â
Â

Â
The ferry ride back to Hatteras marked the end of our trip. Â What a good way to go out. Â
