We stayed in Grunerlokka, a neighborhood in Oslo, which is kinda like the Williamsburg of Norway. But Grunerlokka > Williamsburg.
I traveled with my Black Metal girlfriend, Mindy. We’ve been watching a lot of Metalocalypse lately.
The proximity to lush forests and beaches was a very nice touch. This is the Island of Hovedøya, a 10 minute ferry ride from Oslo.
Weird Skatepark, or empty fountain. I couldn’t figure it out. But someone has to mind that gap.
Some fancy shirts at the local vintage shop in Grunerlokka.
Norway was expensive, but the food was incredible. Fresh fish anywhere you look. This is Mindy after eating about 50 oysters. No Joke.
I saw this guy on the train and got off with him to take this picture.
I loved this girls look. Everything about her looked incredible.
She asked me what blog this would go on, so I hope she finds this.
I have never seen such a friendly fox. I always come across friendly animals in places where animals have never seen abuse. This fox walked up to Mindy and I like we were it’s friends. I found some psychedelic mushrooms on the island that had a lot of bites taken out of them. This fox might be permanently tripping.
These weren’t those mushrooms, but they popped up in families so I took a family portrait.
I went out at 2am before my 5am flight to take a few more pictures with my only roll of 3200 B/W film.
Everyone was waisted.
He was either playing the harmonica or we were about to box, I can’t remember.
I must return to Norway as soon as possible. I already miss this place.
