A while back I posted a series of photos from my visit to Shaman Hill, home of Alex and Claire Tiberi. In that post I mostly focused on my experience there with friends. I went back for another visit for a shoot for Huck Magazine shoot, this time focusing on Alex and Claire’s training and fascination with central Asian medieval culture, history and war games.

Kristen and I recently spent ten days stumbling around Tuscany in a wine and pasta induced coma. I didn’t focus much on shooting. I felt that the tastes, experiences and even sights somehow just didn’t translate to images. I did feel compelled to try at times though.

First stop, Florence.

The second place we stayed was the town of Serravalle Pistoiese about 30 minutes train ride northwest of Florence.
