Here’s a look at my 2011 through the camera. Their are lots of things that I don’t post on my blog because they are part of long term projects that are still kind of up in the air, but this is a sneak peak into some of the top secret stuff I’ve been up to as well as some favs from this years blog posts.

This summer I got to spent a long weekend at the Firefly gathering in Hendersonville, NC on assignment for Huck Magazine. The gathering is all about learning primitive skills that connect us more to the food we eat, the clothes we wear, and our natural surroundings in general. I’ve been interested in this concept for a while, especially after working on my story about Wild Roots, a primitive community also in NC.
