On May 15th, 2009, a few friends and I headed toward the coast for a little skateboard journey.  Needless to say, a lot of fun times happened.  The weather could have been a bit nicer, however, we did what we could to enjoy every bit of the trip.  Thanks to everyone along the way that provided a floor to sleep on, food to eat, beer to drink, etc…

Unfortunately, quite a few hours were spent in the car.  Ramon was glad to ride the coast and film the skating…

ob15

The pilot himself, Robert.

ob13

Kevin, aka, Stephen slept most of the ride.

ob4

We stopped in a few random ass towns along the way.  I walked in a thrift store to find this awesome cash register.

ob3

Too bad you don’t see these much anymore.

ob6

Our pride and joy.?

Rory dominated the Currituck skatepark.  These walls are no joke.  Frontside ollie over the hip.

Frontside ollie over the doorway.  He had to work his way up to this one….

The ferry ride to Ocracoke Island was epic.

ob26

“On A Boat” was the theme song of course.

ob23

Rub it in good, Rory.

ob31

Rob took everyone to this gap in Ocracoke.  Justin broke his board, while Rory threw down this nollie backside 180.

ob35

Jacob in the wilderness.
