The Bain Project is a site-specific art installation that was held in Raleigh, North Carolina on May 9th, 10th, 16th, and 17th in a historic water treatment plant downtown. The facility was built in the early 1900’s in order to supply Raleigh’s water needs. Local artists and bands recently took advantage of the space. The following are photos taken from the Bain Project. It ended up being a huge success. Hundreds of people ventured out in support of the event.

There were a few rooms with projectors throughout. This is a photo from one of them.
I shot this one through an old window. The effect turned out cool.
Do you water the grass?
There was one room with nothing but crushed concrete and debris all over the floor.
These concrete balls were part of the water treatments filtering system. Letters were painted on them and they were placed in many different rooms throughout the facility.
This was probably my favorite installation.
