Families of 4,5, even 6 pile onto single motorbikes. For the third time in a row Egypt has won the African Cup of Nations. It’s a record. Somehow, I see no one get hurt. The cops stand by, grinning. The horse carriages plow through the mess. And everyone goes home happy.

This is amazing. I was so happy to see you documented this. It’s unbelievable crazy Egyptians get about soccer, ya know? Also, unbelievable how no one gets hurt. I didn’t get to witness the chaos up front but saw the crowded streets of Cairo with fire yelling, “Da da da MAS!” on the news, until like 7 in the morning.
